Beautiful for a 1st try ;)!

I too want to invent a new genre: Math Shoegaze = Sounds like math rock but rhythm guitar sounds like shoegaze, and lead guitar sounds like math rock but without the shoegaze fuzz (but just a "clean" shoegaze sound ", that sounds weird).

Cheers! (sorry for late response ._.) Yeah Newgrounds doesn't really give too many genre options outside of EDM. It's a bit hard to categorise this song specifically since it weaves through a few genres. I suppose it's more accurate to call it fusion but it does give me more of a folk feel. (ima check if i can set it to folk or something)

EDIT: Closest I can find is 'world music' and that doesn't feel accurate enough imo.

[Ride through the Night]

It sounded like the music was telling about someone who got lost and drove his car in the night, the twilight, at first it's just a little worry but the night is beautiful so it don't worry a lot and he sees and enjoys the beauty of the moon, halfway through the moon sets and we see nothing, he uses the headlights but he can't find the road, 3/4 of the music, he stops and rests a bit and towards the end the sun is rising, he continues on his way and he finds a gas station and says to himself finally I will be able to go home there !
